Marco Campos is the Founder/Executive Chairman and Chief Culture Officer of Campos Companies and its subsidiaries. He has 20+ years of experience working in a variety of engineering, operations and consulting capacities.

He enjoys philanthropy, particularly in support of women and under-represented minorities pursuing STEM related fields. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a licensed Civil Engineer.

He has four children and a Boxer (Larry) that comes to work with him every day. Marco enjoys bringing an entrepreneurial culture to the business and he is always seeking the next venture. Building business and aligning employees/ individuals to the success they bring is his specialty.

Matt Campano oversees all business activities as the Group President, Infrastructure of Campos EPC.

Since joining Campos EPC in 2020, Campano served as Director of EPC and Vice President of Eastern Region Operations prior to ascending to this role. During that time, he grew the Eastern Region to include the opening of four (4) new regional offices in Tampa, Baton Rouge, Charlotte, and Amherst. In 2021, he also co-founded Campos Fabrication and has been dedicated to the growth of Campos Fabrication into a code shop. He has decades of senior executive-level experience and sat on the Board of Directors for the Utility Contractors of New England.

Elijah Kempton serves as the Group President, Professional Services at Campos EPC. He has over 20 years of technical experience on a wide range of global energy projects.

Prior to joining Campos EPC in 2021, he successfully started 3 new offices with different companies both domestically and abroad. Elijah also worked in London for 6 years and learned to create diverse, high-performance teams and a culture of transparent, collaborative teamwork. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Denver. His hobbies include long-distance running and traveling the world with his family.

With over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, Chris has led major energy projects focused on natural gas transmission, distribution, and cryogenic LNG storage. His background includes leadership in energy management, engineering, and construction, delivering innovative solutions for a variety of sectors, including healthcare, government, and transportation.
Chris is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in 23 states, LEED accredited, and holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.

Justin Kuffel serves as Vice President, Central Region at Campos EPC, overseeing operations and client relationships across the Midwest.

Justin Kuffel joined Campos EPC in 2009 and has dedicated over 15 years to the company, advancing from an individual contributor to leadership roles. He played a key role in establishing the Chicago office in 2017 and the Milwaukee office in 2024, focusing on regional expansion and strengthening client partnerships.

His experience spans project management, talent development, and delivering practical solutions to meet client needs. In his current role, Kuffel supports the continued growth and success of Campos EPC in the Central Region.

Troy Widener serves as the Vice President of the Mountain Region at Campos EPC (Denver, Minneapolis/Duluth, Salt Lake City, Houston/Baton Rouge). He has 16 years of experience in the Energy Industry, in a combination of Owner and Consultant roles.

Prior to joining Campos EPC in 2015, he started his career with a global operator doing offshore pipeline design and construction. In his time at Campos EPC, he began as a Senior Engineer designing Remote Control Valves. He then moved into Project Management of several programs for various clients in the Rockies region and most recently was overseeing Denver Operations as Regional Director. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Engineering Technology Management from the Colorado School of Mines. Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy sharing the Colorado outdoors with their two daughters and hope they grow to have a passion for skiing, snowmobiling, and dirt biking like their parents.

Mickenzie oversees the West Region at Campos EPC. Since joining Campos in 2020, she held Sr. Project Manager and Regional Director positions prior to her current role. She has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California and has spent her entire career working in utilities/energy with an emphasis on program and project management. Her hobbies include golfing, hot yoga and gardening.

Andy has worked in the U.S. energy industry for over 22 years with an emphasis in major program development, detailed design for natural gas and energy systems, hydrogen programs, strategy, deployment, and project development. He has been involved with leading and managing technical personnel and building and growing new revenue streams for organizations. Andy has developed full engineering programs for many large utilities across the US for safety and operational improvements which consist of program scoping/planning, development of engineering standards, integration of new technology, collaboration with key stakeholders, Gas Control Room training, control philosophies, commissioning plans, field maintenance, emergency response procedures, and gas system planning. His areas of specialty include hydrogen (program development and engineering designs), natural gas station engineering and design with a focus on measurement, regulation, controls, and valve automation. He is responsible for engineering and design at Campos including business strategy and development, client relationships, strategic hiring of senior team members, quality management, supporting project execution, setting KPI’s, and technical oversight.

Cory Richins is the VP of Turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects for Campos EPC. His focus is on providing proper project delivery systems that allow Campos EPC to be focused on client alignment, ethics, performance, compliance, and being schedule driven with employee utilization. Cory has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Spanish and a Master’s in Business Management. Cory enjoys golfing, and skiing, and loves to serve in his community along with his wife and 5 children.

Jacob Decker is the Chief Controls Officer at Campos EPC with a focus on Estimating and Project Controls for the Energy Sector.

He has worked at Campos EPC for 8 years and has over 19 years of experience in Construction, Project Management, Estimating and Project Controls. Jacob holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

He is an outdoor enthusiast that enjoys building teams and creating the future leaders of tomorrow.

Cameron Andersen is the Vice President of Quality and Safety at Campos, where he has worked for over 11 years. He has nearly two decades of experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry, with a strong background in pipeline, facilities, and industrial systems supporting the energy sector.

Throughout his career at Campos, Cameron has held several leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Principal of Quality and Regional Director. In these roles, he has led multidisciplinary teams, overseen large-scale engineering and construction projects, and driven continuous improvement in quality, safety, and operational performance across multiple regions.

Prior to joining Campos, Cameron held engineering positions with Neumann Systems Group and Schlumberger, where he focused on controls engineering, system design, and product development. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, commissioning, and operations, as well as the development of innovative technologies in fluid handling and process systems.

Cameron earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, working on home projects, being outdoors, and serving in his community.
